computational language learning; theoretical linguistics;

Research Interests

I am particularly interested in the question of how children manage to learn language: what kind of information they rely on, what kind of knowledge is "built-in", and what theoretical machinery can account for the process of acquisition, the formal problem of learning, and the typology of adult languages.
